The City of Surrey in British Columbia just reopened the Surrey Museum in September after being closed for over a year and Holman Exhibits is proud to showcase their contributions to the new and improved space!
Holman partnered with design firm Reich+Petch to create the new TD Kids Explore Zone. This magical space features a tree house, a fishing zone, a recycling centre, and more interactive displays. The exhibit celebrates the oceanic life, modern city vitality, and youth experience through many sensory activities.
The TD Kids Explore Zone will have you entertained for hours! The goal was to create an exhibit that would promote an inclusive, participatory experience for youth. This was achieved through interactive displays that invite and promote contribution from their audiences. The space provides a playful and happy learning environment for busy hands and blooming minds!
The exhibit runs from September 29, 2018 to March 31, 2019. Hours: Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30 and Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00. (Closed Monday and Tuesday). Admission is free, sponsored by Friends of Surrey Museum. Be sure to get to the TD Kids Explore Zone for your next day of family fun!
