Holman Exhibits partnered with Origin Studios and the Nattilik Heritage Society to fabricate and install Unlocking the Ice: Connected Arctic Histories of Natchilingmiut and the 1845 Franklin Expedition, a 1,500-square-foot permanent exhibition at the Nattilik Heritage Centre in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut. The exhibition presents a community-led exploration of Inuit culture, oral histories, and knowledge alongside the story of the Franklin Expedition through artifacts, interpretive graphics, interactive exhibits, and audiovisual experiences. Holman was responsible for the fabrication and installation of custom exhibit environments, artifact displays, graphics, interactive elements, and AV integration, working closely with Parks Canada, Inuit Heritage Trust, Elders, Youth, and community representatives to ensure cultural accuracy and sensitivity.
