Walls, Islamic-inspired arches, and display cases for an expansive gallery exhibition
Aga Khan Museum
Holman was contracted by the Aga Khan Museum to produce the gallery walls, Islamic-inspired arches, and display cases. The exhibit featured deep jewel-tone colours of paint and beautiful millwork to create a breathtaking exhibit.
‘Emperors Jewels: Treasures of the Indian Courts from the Al-Sabah Collection’ at the AGA Khan Museum exhibit was a discovery of the beauty and fashion of Indian culture. From handcrafted stone, trays, gems of diamonds and jade, studded rings, cups, and even glittery artwork, the objects from this exhibition are drawn from Kuwait’s al-Sabah Collection, known as the biggest collections of Islamic artwork in the world.
